Brittany and Dan have been together for about a year and a half, but they’ve known each other for years. Their first meeting, at lunch during their junior year of high school, eventually became a moment in their lives that they would never forget. Their relationship started out as a simple friendship that a few years later developed into a closer one when they became co-workers at a local restaurant. Fast-forward a few years later, and they’re one of the most adorable couples you could ever meet.

First Date: The boardwalk and mini golf in Ocean City, NJ. This is both Brittany and Dan’s favorite date.
“My favorite date was probably our first date because that’s when I realized I had a person in my life who was really different and genuinely cared,” said Brittany. Dan agreed, adding, “This was my favorite [date] because I knew she was an awesome girl, and it would be a start to our relationship.”
Last Date: An impromptu run to Wendy’s this week after a routine trip to the gym.
Dan described this meal as a “five-star cuisine,” while Brittany was not necessarily sure if it counted as a date, but added, “We always go for food late at night and drive around with music on – preferably Taylor Swift. It’s just our thing that we do and I think it’s special.”
Favorite Qualities:
Dan says he loves how much of a “hard-working individual” Brittany is and how she is someone who “strives to always have things done on time and always goes the extra mile.” He says Brittany can always make him “crack a smile” and is always herself in front of him without being afraid.
Brittany loves how sweet and understanding Dan is, so much so that she even said “he understands me more than I understand myself.” She mentions, jokingly, that Dan is a patient and caring individual unless he is “doing homework or losing in a video game.” Additionally, Brittany loves how funny Dan is and how he can always make her laugh regardless of the circumstances.
Why do you love your SO?
Dan: “She is really awesome and someone that I can talk to no matter what at anytime. I love her because she has the patience with me and my calm personality. She is warmed-hearted and I love the kisses and hugs she shares with me.”
Brittany: “ I love him for the little things he does, like how he carries my bags when we’re shopping or how he always lets me put my music on in the car. I love how he always gets me SourPatch watermelon or Ben and Jerry’s when I had a bad day and comes over to hangout just because he knows that’s what I need. I love how he will sit there and watch Taylor Swift videos with me for hours just because he knows I like it. He always puts me before himself and I am so lucky to have him as my boyfriend. I love how awesome he is.”
How has you SO impacted your life?
Dan believes Brittany has definitely had a “huge” impact on his life. He says he believes it’s because of her that he is able to “stride to get things done” especially with school. “I feel more inclined to get school done.”
Brittany says Dan has impacted her life in a different way. She says she was never “so comfortable” around someone before or have had someone be there for her at all hours of the day and night. “There’s been times where I’ve called him after midnight and he’s physically been there for me, which I think is important.”
Any plans for Valentine’s Day?
Brittany and Dan plan to revisit Ocean City, the location of their first date, to have breakfast together at Uncle Bill’s. Unfortunately, they both have to work later that evening, but they will be working side-by-side together. “It’s good because [we] will be able to spend all day together,” Brittany mentions.
