8 Withdrawals You Go Through After Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rowan chapter.

You wait half of your Spring semester for that one week where you get a break from school. Whether you go on vacation or just stay at home, it feels great to relax, worry-free of anything school related. Before you know it, that week is over and you have to face the reality that you have class tomorrow. Here are the eight withdrawals you go through post-Spring Break.

1.    You realize you have to get up for that 8am class.Ah, the sweet sound of your alarm clock going off, just to remind you that sleeping in is NOT an option today.

2.    You’re constantly daydreaming about where you went over Spring Break. You miss the warm weather and palm trees, but you have to snap yourself out of it and get back to your homework and the sight of your dorm room.

3.    And if you stayed home, you miss the comfort of lounging around in your room.Because let’s be real here; there’s nothing better than sitting in your room and doing nothing with your life. At least it’s better than school work.

4.    You know you’re going to fall behind on that show you binge-watched over break. All of your schoolwork is getting in the way of you completing that latest season of New Girl.

5.    You’re already posting multiple pictures from Spring Break on your Instagram. And the caption is something along the lines of “miss this” or “take me back #tooearlyforathrowback?”

6.    You refuse to unpack because you refuse to believe Spring Break is actually over.No. I will not fold my clothes and put them away. I’d rather cry.

7.    You start brainstorming what you’re going to do next year for Spring Break. It’s never too early to plan something as fun as vacation.

8.    In the meantime, you count down the final days until summer.Keep your chin high and get through your final two months of school. It’s the final push until you get to enjoy yourself for three months. The ultimate present for a college student!
