1. What are you involved in on campus?
Sigma Delta Tau Sorority, Panhellenic Executive Board and Outgoing Head Rho Gamma, Bio 113Lab TA, Biology Teaching Lab tech, MERT, Residential Life (Upperclassmen RA), Order of Omega and Safe Zone Trainer
2. Why do you think it is important to be so involved?
Being at a university is a unique experience, and it’s really up to you to make it as enriching or as boring as you want. For me, being involved is important because I want to explore all my interests in meaningful ways and because I like to feel connected to my network of peers and the greater university community as well. It’s an expensive four years of my life, I might as well go all out.
3. What are your goals as President of Panhel?
Our main focus for this term is building better communication between chapters and the Panhellenic, focusing on strong partnerships with IFC and MGC through programming and community service and gearing up for another groundbreaking recruitment for next year.
4. Any tips for balancing school, social life and extracurricular activities?
You can’t let stress get the best of you, it just inhibits you from being productive – take a deep breath, work hard and always give yourself some time for fun.
5. What is your favorite thing about U of R?
Days in spring where sun-deprived masses of students are out on the quad just enjoying the warmth and grass.
