Adil Khan ’16

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Rhodes chapter.

Full Name: Adil Ahmad Khan
Hometown: Little Rock, AR
Major/Minor: Business Administration
Interest/hobbies: Long walks on the beach, Football, and Frisbee.

HerCampus: If you were a girl for the day, what would you do?
Adil Khan: If I were a girl for the day, I’d get a relaxing manicure and pedicure because I’d have an excuse to do it.

HC: If you were to win the lottery, what would you do with it?
AK: If I won the lottery, I would hire somebody to make it rain wherever I went, and if I had any left over, like a couple million, I’d finally be able to pay off college debt.

HC: What first thing you notice about a girl?
AK: The first thing I notice about a girl, as cliché as it may seem would be her eyes.

HC: What is your biggest pet peeve?
AK: My biggest pet peeve is having a deep conversation with someone and receiving a “K” in response.

HC: Name an expensive thing you’ve bought and now regret buying?
AK: My college books.

HC: What is your favorite sport to watch?
AK: I’m going to have to go with good ole’ fashioned American Football. Nothing gets a Sunday going like sitting back and watching the NFL while sipping on some ice-cold sweet tea.

HC: What is your dream job?
AK: My dream job would be working on 30 Rock with Tina Fey. That woman is a goddess.

HC: If you could go back and tell past Adil some advice, what would that advice be?
AK: “Past Adil, don’t eat the quesadillas with queso at the Lair; you know they are a bad idea.”

HC: What is your opinion on rompers (women fashion).
AK: To be completely honest, I’d have to say that they really don’t make sense to me. How do you use the bathroom? They aren’t worth the inconvenience at all.

HC: What is your idea of a romantic date on the Rhodes College campus?
AK: A romantic date would start with maybe an evening cup of coffee prepared exquisitely at the Middle Ground, followed by a long walk around campus on a cool, fall evening. Finally we’d lay outside in front of Barret, with a quilt set out and I’d sing Katy Perry’s, “Teenage Dream” to her as we gazed at the stars in the sky.

HC: What is something you wish more people new about you?
AK: I don’t usually tell this to people, but I am actually not the guy from Slumdog Millionaire.
