10 #GRLPWR Netflix Suggestions

Looking to avoid problematic family members this Thanksgiving? Here are some great distractions to get you through break!

1. Grace and Frankie

Two older women figuring out how to live single life again? Hilarious.

Hands down my favorite TV show. Please watch this. Highly underrated.

3. Restless Creature: Wendy Whelan

A documentary about Wendy Whelan, a former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. Will make you wish you were flexible.

4. Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold

If you haven’t read any of Joan Didion’s work, first reconsider your priorities and then watch this movie about her. She has lived a pretty rad life.

5. Feminists: What Were They Thinking?

I won’t lie, I haven’t seen this one yet, but c’mon read the title. It has to be good.

6. Frances Ha

For all my indie girls. If you’re anything close to a hot mess you’ll sympathize with Frances as she attempts to make it as a dancer in New York.

7. Sunshine Cleaning

Yet another indie flick. When women discover their own strength they really are unstoppable.

8. Girlboss

Ever heard of Nasty Gal?? Well now you have. Sophia really proves how one really good jacket can change your life.

9. To The Bone

In this Netflix original, your heart will tighten as you follow the recovery of a young woman suffering from anorexia.

10. Kill Bill

A classic. Do I really have to elaborate on this one? Uma Thurman is a BA.

Happy watching!
