Brian Tells All! Facebook flirting, Fashion, and more!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Quinnipiac chapter.

How do you feel about Facebook flirting?

Next time you think about flirting on Facebook, take a step back and ask why you wouldn’t do the same in person.  From the guy’s end, Facebook flirting is a cowardly way to make a move. Guys that flirt on Facebook are the ones that are too scared to talk to the girl in person. I’ve done it in the past, and now I’m not too proud of it. Once you realize why you are flirting on Facebook you’ll probably realize the guy doesn’t flirt or act the same in person. This might mean he is hiding something or maybe he is lacking some confidence. So, if a guy’s only route to flirting is Facebook or Snapchat, then lose him (just be sure to take screen shots of the Snapchats to save for blackmail.)

What’s a great conversation starter with a piece of eye candy?

So this may sound crazy, but just follow me on this one. What you’ll need is some good ol’ self-confidence, which is harder to say than it is to actually do. Once you have it, then go and tell that piece of nice looking gentleman just what he is—eye candy. If that is too upfront, then start by asking his name or for a dance. What I do know is if a girl came up to me and told me she thinks I’m hot or a piece of eye candy, I’d be flattered and my ego would go through the roof. There is nothing better than being approached by a girl and being told that you’re a good looking guy.

Why do guys always wear work boots all the time?

Asking around to a couple of girls it seems like it’s your fault. Now I hate to point fingers, but the girls I ask, they say they think it makes a guy look hot. For me, it just says you have never actually worked a day in your life and have no use for steel-toe work boots. I guess it is the same reason that every guy owns at least one snapback hat. I do, but it was from the mid-90s when that’s how hats were made. So if you are annoyed by the work boots, take a stand; I’ll be right there next to. If you are Nicole Dover and think they are amazing, then let me know. Maybe it is time for me to get a pair.
