Living With All Your Best Friends

My absolute favorite part of living in my sorority is living with all my best friends. It is so fun to share a room with a couple of them or be able to call down the hall. Huge bonus is that it feels like I have about 60 closets to pick from and a million pairs of shoes. I never have to leave without the perfect outfit. It also helped me get really close with my best friends being so close to them and getting to do everything together. Honestly, it is such a cool experience. Living with almost a hundred girls in a mansion is really only something you can do in this part of your life.

Having a Chef

I am a huge foodie, so having an amazing chef has to be one of the best perks. It is really nice to come home after a long day of classes and work to find a fresh, hot meal waiting for you to enjoy. For someone who is always doing homework or studying it takes a huge load off my shoulders not to have to come home and scramble around to cook. Plus, I have the rest of my life to come home after work and cook for myself.

Location Location Location

The location is prime! Living in the Acres is close enough to campus where you can take a bike or easily walk, but far enough that you do not need to stare at the academic buildings all the time. It has a much homier feel just being off campus a little bit. Also, there is a bus that runs from the Acres to the rest of campus for those cold winter months when walking anywhere is impossible.

Parking!

Parking at Purdue has to be the worst. There are literally four parking spots for students on the entire campus. It is nice because sorority houses have their very own parking lots where you can park and not have to worry about getting a ticket. It is super convenient because it allows you to have a car on campus without the hassle of finding your next parking spot.
