Pumpkin Spice Syrup To Fuel Your Obsession

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Purdue chapter.

Let’s be real, there isn’t a person who isn’t obsessed with pumpkin flavored treats during the fall (unless you’re allergic of course). This pumpkin spice flavored syrup can help with all your pumpkin flavored drink needs during the current social distancing situation!

The recipe displayed in this article is from the following website: https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/4-ingredient-pumpkin-spice-syrup/

What you’ll need

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice

Directions

  1. Add all your ingredients to a pot and stir for 3 minutes until the mixture reaches a simmer. Once it does, pour it out into a strainer over a container you want to store it in.
  2. Let your mixture cool and enjoy!
  3. Store for up to 1 week in the fridge.

You can put the syrup on anything from coffee to pancakes. This recipe is so easy I can’t wait to try it out in my coffee to get me through upcoming midterms!
