Her Campus Purdue: What do you do as a worker for Purdue football’s recruiting program?
Lauryn Armstrong: I mainly handle correspondence between Purdue and the recruits. It’s a lot of fun.

HCP: I didn’t even know Purdue had a sky diving club! That’s too cool! How did you get involved with that?
LA: Not a lot of people do! I had a friend who was attending the callout and he dragged me along. They get together to jump every so often.

HCP: If you could have lunch with anyone who would it be?
LA: That’s a really good question! Not to be too cheesy, but probably Jesus. I think it’d be really interesting to pick His brain. Or Audrey Hepburn! Just because she would be fun to gab with.

HCP: What’s your favorite place on Purdue’s campus?
LA: Academy Park for sure. It’s the perfect place to stargaze when it’s warm outside.

HCP: What are some things left to do on your Purdue Bucket List?
LA: I still need to sled down Slayter Hill!

HCP: What three things would you take with you on a deserted island?
LA: Sunscreen, Ryan Reynolds, and my Kindle.

HCP: So what is one fun fact about you that people might not know?
LA: If you see me on campus, and I’m not walking to class, I’m probably napping somewhere. I can sleep anywhere and through anything.

HCP: Where’s the most random place you’ve napped on campus?
LA: I’ve napped a lot of different places, but the most random is probably at the Beering fountain. Campus naps are the way to go!

HCP: If you could be on any reality TV show, what would it be and why?
LA: MasterChef! I’m in love with it and I love to cook and bake.

HCP: What recipe do you want to try in the near future?
LA: I would love to bake an orange chocolate soufflé. Right now, I’ve got about 3/4 of the ingredients, and I’m just waiting for the time to make it.

HCP: Who would play you in a movie and why?
LA: Amy Adams! She’s so cute and bubbly.

HCP: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
LA: In ten years… I see myself living someplace much warmer (sorry Indiana!), working for the FBI as a linguist, and having a family.
