HC: How is your transition to Penn State going for you?
JH: It was difficult at first, definitely. As time has gone on I have gotten into the ease of things. For example waking up early and going to class isn’t my type of thing but I have learned to prioritize better in the short amount of time I have been here. With the rigorous schedule I have I need to make sure I am studying when I need to because I don’t want to fall behind.
HC: What are you most looking forward to as a Penn State student?
JH: I am looking forward to getting involved in the organizations offered at Penn State. For example Thon is something that I am interested in, as well as being a new pledge at Sig Ep. I am also looking forward to creating new relationships and bonds with the peers I have around me.
HC: What are you currently watching on Netflix?
JH: I just finished Narcos I am going to move onto The Office next.
HC: Where would you take a girl to eat downtown on a date?
JH: I would take them to Irving’s because it has a great atmosphere and it is less intimidating. I like to make people feel more comfortable in their surroundings. Plus it has good food.
HC: What is your ideal date?
JH: Ice cream and a movie. Keepin’ it simple.
HC: What qualities do you look for in a girl?
JH: She has to have self respect, and is also funny, cute, and smart.
HC: While driving around in a car on a date, what kind of music do you play?
JH: Rap, sorry just being myself.
HC: What is your most embarrassing quality?
JH: I have a really fast metabolism so I eat A LOT of food. Like seriously, a lot.
HC: What is the one thing you miss most about home?
JH: My dogs, Abby and Lacey.
