Meet Jonny – disc jockey and radio staff head at the PSU radio station the LION 90.7 FM, THON chair for his fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon last year, and Swag Chair (seriously, there’s a swag chair) for the College of Communications Student Council. Need we say more?
HC: What’s your favorite thing about Penn State?
Jonny: THON. I stayed at THON my freshman year for 40 hours and this past year I stayed for about 36 hours, for my fraternity and also to broadcast for the radio station. I keep in touch with our THON child. It’s definitely something I like to be a part of.
HC: Describe your dream girl.
Jonny: Looks wise, anywhere from 5’1 to 5’4, tan with dirty blonde to brown hair. But most importantly she has to have a great personality. She has to be funny, easy to talk to and of course, she’d be my best friend.
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Jonny: I think I’ll be settled down, have a family. I’m not sure if I’ll still be doing radio stuff. I might want to go to law school and do something with that. I just hope to have a steady job, be happy with family and enjoying life.
HC: If you could have one super power what would it be?
Jonny: I’m going to have to go with flying. I’d love to fly; it would just be so much more convenient. Who wouldn’t want to fly?
HC: Who is the most important woman in your life and why?
Jonny: The most important woman in my life is definitely my mom, for many reasons. She’s always been there for me. When I was younger and I was very sick she took care of me. She’s the reason I’m here today. I owe my life to her. Honestly she’s the woman of my dreams.
