We almost made it through October without snowfall, but this weekend Penn state, along with most of east Pennsylvania and New Jersey, got a dose of winter. The fall foliage was mixed with the fresh white snow, showing that it wasn’t just the students and residents of State College who weren’t ready for winter quite yet. Those of us who still have yet to bring our winter clothes up from home, sure have a reminder now. Students were forced to grab as many layers as they could find to keep them warm and dry for the big football game on Saturday. Hopefully we can return to fall, even just for a little bit.
