The Definitive Ranking Of The Best Elf Quotes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

With Christmas getting closer and the ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas in full swing, it is officially Elf season. I may be partial because Elf is my favorite movie, but with Buddy’s overwhelming Christmas spirit, how can he not get you pumped for the Christmas season?

Here is the power ranking of the best quotes in Elf that will be sure to put a smile on your face:

8. This iconic moment starts off Buddy’s adventure through the Lincoln Tunnel and into the new world of NYC.

7. Easily another amazing moment in the movie… post getting hit in the face with a snowball, Buddy sticks up for his brother, Michael, against the mean kids that started this snowball fight in the first place.

6. This is way funnier than it should be, but it makes you cherish the little things in life. It also helps you appreciate that Buddy feels that bad about shoving cookies into a VCR when he could have felt way worse about so many other things. It’s adorable.

5. This is when Buddy plans out his day with his dad. His love for a man that he has never met before along with the enthusiasm and positivity he has fills us with dancing sugar plums!

4. This one speaks for itself.

3. He is so naive… it’s adorable.

2. How can you not smile at Will Ferrell dressed in an elf costume?

1. This one never fails to make me smile which is why it is number one.

Thanks for the smiles, Buddy. We love you!
