31 Feel-Good Ways to Spend Your October

1. Heat your towels, sheets and socks in the dryer.

2. Indulge in a large hot apple cider from Irving’s.

3. Watch Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown and Casper on ABC Family’s 13 Nights of Halloween.

4. Indulge in your favorite childhood candy and don’t feel guilty about it.

5. Brew Golden French Toast k-cups in your Keurig coffee maker.

6. Watch all of the classic horror movies during AMC Fear Fest.

7. Simmer festive potpourri on your stove.

8. Visit the local farmer’s market and buy seasonal vegetables.

9. Cuddle up with a book in the Harry Potter room at the library.

10. Visit a haunted house or a corn maze.

11. Decorate your apartment seasonally and light plenty of scented candles.

12. Drink Pumpkin Ale.

13. Buy a new moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated in the brisk weather.

14. Make Easy No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake…yum. 

15. Go apple or pumpkin picking with someone special.

16. Purposefully jump in a pile of leaves.

17. Attend a screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

18. Pillsbury Ready to Bake Sugar Cookies with Halloween shapes on them.

19. Paint your nails black and orange, but not at the same time.

20. Take a fall picture with your friends at the Lion Shrine.

21. Go see a scary movie on a rainy day.

22. Carve a jack-o-lantern and display it on your balcony.

23. Paint a mug at 2000 degrees.

24. Order in Chinese once in a while.

25. Rip the tags off a new oversized knit sweater.
