Thanksgiving is a time for families and friends to come together and spend time. Thanksgiving is also a time to look back on all that you have and all that you are thankful for. We asked some of our members what they are thankful for this year, and here is what they had to say.
Ciara: I am thankful for the endless love and support that I get from my friends and family. Without them, I would not be as strong as I am today.
Lauren Barr: I am thankful for the people I have at behrend who have made being away from home not as hard for me anymore.
Mary: I’m thankful for my family and friends, and for their constant love and support.
Lauren Plummer: I am thankful for my family and my education
Alex: I am thankful that I have the privilege to be able to cook whatever I could possibly want for my family and friends. Not everyone has the option to choose what to feed themselves so I don’t take that for granted.
Olivia: This year I’m truly thankful for the people in my life, especially the people that make me laugh even on bad days. Without their support around me I’m pretty sure I’d go insane.
Emma: I am most thankful for my boyfriend. Even though we started dating this summer and ever since then it has been so much fun going on countless dates and adventures. I am extremely thankful that I have a forever best friend to do everything with.
Julia: There are so many things I am grateful for that saying all of them would be as long as the Harry Potter series. To keep it brief, I am thankful for my family and friends as well as my animals and boyfriend. I am also grateful to be blessed to receive medical care I need for mental illness in which some people can’t get. I am also thankful everyday to wake up and be alive with a roof over my head and clothes to keep me warm. I am thankful for the things we often take for granted but others are lacking and might be dying because of it.
Ramsey: I am thankful for all the support that surrounds me. Whether it comes from my boyfriend, family, or my friends, the love and support that they give me has made me into such a strong person, and I am grateful for that.
