There have been hundreds of conspiracy theories going around the internet, and everyone can’t wait for Shane Dawson’s next conspiracy theory videos to be posted. There are some dark ones like 9/11 being an inside job and some cult favorites like the Berenstain Bears misspelling, but there is one show that seems to rack in a lot of theories on their own. Riverdale. So, lets dove into a few theories the fans have created.
1. Cheryl and Jason Blossom were actually dating, this one came straight out of the first episode. Many fans believed that they were just way to close, and acted way too suspicious to just be brother and sister. Cheryl’s actress, however, has denied this theory multiple times.
2. Clifford Blossom is not dead, is anyone on TV really dead? Many people believe that the Blossom’s dad is not really dead and is just trying to let the whole drug ring, and killing his son die down. Then when his secret twin brother pops up in season two and seems to want to take over the family it gets even more suspicious that he may just be Clifford.
3. FP Jones and Alice Cooper dated when they were younger and Chic is actually FP son. Now we all know that Alice was once a serpent and FP clearly has some past with Alice that they seem to have this big secret and a deeper connection. We also know that Chic is not Hal Cooper’s son, and even though Alice denied that he was FP she jumped to quick to deny it and the timeline would match up.
4. Alice Cooper and the Serpent Lawyer Penny are related, like above we do know that Alice was a Serpent and don’t know much about her family, they also look similar so why not?
5. Cheryl’s Jason Vision is really just Jason’s ghost trying to reach out to her. Well, we are in the same realm as Sabrina so possibly…
6. The Black Hood…. At this point in the series, we have had two black hood revels but most have been rather anticlimactic the second one being more dramatic since it was the right-hand man of lodges, but everyone seems to want more. No one believes that the Black Hood has truly been revels and the theories go from Penelope Blossom to Archie himself. I guess we will all have to wait and see.
Bonus Theory: Riverdale is actually the Upside down from Stranger Things and Barb is still alive and doing well as Ethel Muggs in Riverdale since they share the same actress Shannon Purser and even kind of have the same clothing style.
