Well, it all started when my mom suggested that I watch The Haunting of Hill House. She suggests shows to me semi-regularly and there are some I end up liking but also some I end up absolutely hating. This was one of the shows that I ended up loving so much that I have recommended it to other people as well.

I feel as though this show is so different than what you expect from a horror T.V. show. There are so many twists and turns in the series and that’s what makes it so good. The whole entire time when I watched this show I felt like I had no idea what was about to happen next, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat (I also finished it in about 2 days…oops!).  I also think that the actors that they picked were very fitting for their characters as well. Not only did they all work well together, but they also were just good at acting, and it was not cheesy like some other Netflix original shows. I think that the best part of the whole show was the season finale though. It helped you understand what exactly happened in that house, and how the characters got to where they are. It’s a very detailed and descriptive show and I never felt like I was left hanging from any important details.

I am a scary movie lover. I love anything that involves horror, and to me, this show was not too scary. I know some of my friends that have watched it that thought it was terrifying, so I guess you’d just have to watch it for yourself and see. I believe that they are also planning on making a season 2, but I am not sure. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend watching this show if you love scary things just as much as I do!

(P.S. I didn’t want to get too descriptive or else it would give so much away, watch it for yourself!)
