The Perfect Female Podcasts to Listen to in 2022

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Providence chapter.

I have been spending a lot of time listening to podcasts recently. Whether it is walking around campus, doing work, or just because I am bored, they have been very motivating and inspiring as I learn new things, boost my mood, or work on building my confidence in the new year. Here are some of those podcasts that I highly recommend listening to:

1. What We Said with Jaci Marie and Chelsea Jade

In their podcast, Jaci and Chelsea have discussed a variety of different entertaining topics since 2018, and it is my personal favorite podcast to listen to. They invite experts and friends on the show to talk about their lives and tips for physical and mental health, business, relationships, and anything in-between. They share fans’ stories every week, as well as offer their own insights, which makes them both relatable and personal when you listen to each episode. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who needs advice or wants to learn something new this year.

2. Bare Naked Soul with Leah Pardee

Leah gives encouraging advice on improving your mental health and how to manifest the best things you want out of life. She goes deep into balancing your life and shifting into a positive mindset while discussing specific topics that are suitable for everyone’s experiences. They are a great way to start the day and work on self-love when you truly need it most.

3. The Confidence Collective with Kristina Zias and Raeann Langas

Kristina and Raeann are both plus-sized models who talk about women empowerment, self-esteem, friendships, and navigating life to live it to the fullest. They are both motivating women and I greatly enjoy their perspectives during each episode. This podcast is perfect for securing the confidence and encouragement you may need in order to get through the difficulties you are facing this year.

4. My Morning Devotional with Alison Elizabeth

I particularly enjoy this podcast because it is a short and simple way to engage with Scripture when life gets overwhelming. I know that not everyone is an active Catholic, but for those that do practice the faith (or want to), this can offer a small glimpse into a personal moment with God. For me, life often gets in the way while prayer and Scripture are pushed into the back of my mind, so these five minute podcasts can provide a brief time of peace and reflection during a long day.

All of these podcasts are available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, as well as linked above for your enjoyment. They are amazing podcasts to get you through the new year and can help you to reach many of the goals you wish to accomplish in the future. Happy listening!
