I’m not a big fan of wearing shorts to work out. That’s mostly because my definition of working out is a hip swaying, booty shaking, sweaty show…which shorts do not compliment! It’s hard to not be self-conscious in a Zumba or cardio class when you’re trying to make sure that everything stays covered when you bend over.

For me, the junior team shorts that Soffe sent me were not an exception to this rule. While they had a handy booty-hugging lining to account for the potential problem that I have with shorts, there wasn’t much fabric beyond that. Plus, the fabric that was there didn’t stretch. Shorty shorts + non-elastic fabric = no squats or booty-shaking bends for Tori.

Don’t get me wrong, I felt fantastic wearing them; they were quite flattering. However, for my line of workout, they aren’t appropriate. I think these shorts would be good for something called “running” or its younger brother “jogging” but I wouldn’t know firsthand.
