What October Netflix Release You Should Watch Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Portland chapter.

Netflix has so many great new releases this October! Scroll down to see which one matches your zodiac sign’s personality the best.

Aries: Miss Congeniality. As an outgoing and independent Aries, you might relate well to Sandra Bullock’s sarcastic character in this beauty pageant, spy movie.

Taurus: A romantic comedy like Made of Honor will suit the responsible and romantic Taurus well.

Gemini: Outgoing Gemini should be sure to watch season 5 of The Fosters, a Freeform drama show about foster kids. Like the characters’ lives, Geminis are associated with change and instability. The characters Mariana and Jesus are also twins, a trait associated with this sign.

Cancer: Cancers change often and are very sensitive. Like Lucy Hale’s character in A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, you may need to put yourself out there more and look for adventure!

Leo: No Reservations. Leos like to take charge, like the protagonist of this chef-centered romantic comedy.

Virgo: Meet the Robinsons. Virgos will love this animated film from Disney about a young orphan inventor who time travels!

Libra: Libras, who desire harmony and diplomacy, should watch Smurfs: The Lost Village, about the blue creatures having to restore order by rescuing Smurfette and discovering an mysterious secret.

Scorpio: Resourceful, intense Scorpios will love to watch a season of the Netflix original, Stranger Things. Follow Mike, Will and the others as they continue to fight with wit and loyalty.

Sagittarius: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You’re likely to be straightforward and enjoy taking risks, so I recommend this movie about a boy who takes a risk by visiting Willy Wonka’s factory.

Capricorn: As someone born in the winter, you might enjoy Ice Guardians, a documentary about a hockey team.

Aquarius: Penelope. Aquarians, dreamers who don’t care what others think, will enjoy Penelope’s story as she comes to accept who she is, pig nose and all. As someone born around Valentine’s day, you’ll also appreciate the love story.

Pisces: Must Love Dogs. This romantic comedy about a divorced woman who joins an online dating site will appeal to my fellow Pisceans, who are optimistic and emotional dreamers.

Victoria is a senior marketing major with a sustainability minor at the University of Portland. In her free time, she loves browsing the aisles of Target, exploring Portland and drinking chocolate milk. When in doubt her outfits are almost entirely from Old Navy and you can normally find her in Kenna Hall where she is one of the Resident Assistants.
