If you’re a photographer, or simply someone who loves taking photos frequently, it’s a good idea to always have your camera on you. No, not at home or somewhere else to grab later, but always around your neck or in your bag. You never know when an unexpected opportunity will pop up that demands your camera.

Recently, my friend Balint and I took portraits of each other in the second floor mac labs. Why this location? The light coming from the parking garage across the street was really really nice. Completely unplanned. He happened to have his camera. I did not. So we took turns photographing each other and the results were pretty cool.

I learned from this experience to never leave my camera behind again, even if it means a little extra weight to carry around.
