Chances are many of our New Year’s Resolutions included the following: eat healthier, be nicer to people, and of course, go to the gym more. Being that the average gym membership costs between $40 and $50 per month, why not take advantage of Point Park’s free exercise equipment while you can?

The fitness center is located on the fourth floor of the Student Center, which contains a racquetball court, a spinning room with bikes, treadmills, elliptical and matrix machines, weights, a short track, and water fountains. It is free of charge to all Point Park students, but faculty and alumni are able to purchase a membership. There are also yoga and spinning classes offered weekly.

Take advantage of the Student Fitness Center! Don’t forget to bring your student ID, as you will need it to get in the building. The hours of operation are as follows:

Monday through Thursday: 7 AM – 11 PM

Friday: 7 AM – 9 PM

Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM

Sunday: 12 PM – 11 PM
