10. Pittsburgh is cleaner
Philly is just a dirty city. Hence it’s nickname “Filthadelphia”.
9. We don’t have a high crime rate.
Philly is ranked as one of the most dangerous city in the US, coming in at 2nd on some renowned lists.
8. We have statues of real people.
They idolize a fake boxer – Rocky. We idolize icons in Pittsburgh history, such as Andy Warhol, Roberto Clemente, and Fred Rogers.
7. Primanti’s > Cheesesteaks.
Yeah cheesesteaks might be good, but putting cole slaw and fries on a sandwich is just pure genius.
6. Our sports fans are actually nice.
We don’t beat people up at sporting events, we also don’t start talking trash until the game starts.
5. We don’t boo Santa.
The Philly fans booed a Santa Claus at a football game AND threw snowballs at him.
4. The view is amazing.
No matter what angle you are looking at the city from, it’s always gorgeous.
3. The Terrible Towel.
Myron Cope, a longtime Steelers announcer made the towel to give back money to his son’s school Allegheny Valley School, which cares for people with mental and physical disabilities.
2. Our sports teams are awesome.
