Now that school is back in session, many girls like myself will be faced with the same struggle: not having enough time to do your makeup in the morning. Whether it’s due to your alarm not going off, overestimating how much time you have (really, you were sure the sixth time you tried to do your winged eyeliner it would be perfect), or just sheer laziness, you need a quick way to put a bit of makeup on without being late to your 8 A.M. lecture. Here are some tips and tricks to have perfect makeup in a short amount of time.

1. Use BB (or CC) Cream: BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. Basically, it can be used alone or with other products, depending on exactly how much time you have. It gives just enough coverage for any dark spots, pimples, or anything else needing coverage. Just set it with some powder once applied, and then you’re good to go!

2. Focus on your eyebrows: There’s definitely no time to do any sort of eye shadow when you’re in a hurry. Instead, bring focus to your eyebrows. Lightly fill in your brows, but don’t completely saturate them to the point where they look fake and drawn on.

3. Mascara, mascara, MASCARA: Mascara can be used to not only lengthen your lashes, but also to make it appear as though you are wearing a little bit of eyeliner. Skip the eyeliner, the lash curlers, and everything else that would take too long. Instead, focus your mascara toward the roots of your lashes, making sure to hit each and every lash.

4. Double the use of your favorite lipstick: After quickly applying your favorite lipstick, use it as a blush. Now, I’m not telling you to go for the creepy doll look; just dab a little on each cheek and blend it. It’ll give a nice, rosy color to your cheeks if there’s no time for powdered blush or if you just need a pop of color!
