HC: What’s your favorite part about track?
Josh: I’d have to say my favorite part is just being with my team. We have some funny dudes on the guys’ squad this year so it is always fun to be around them. I also really like to compete, and I hate to lose. Track is always there for me to do that every day; whether it is in a meet or in practice.
HC: What do you do in your free time?
Josh: Although I have very little free time with track and classes, I usually spend time hanging out with my homies or on social networks. I’m a big twitter and Instagram fan. Follow me @_JMac3
HC: What do you like most about Pitt?
Josh: What is there not to like about Pitt?! If I had to say one thing I like most about Pitt, it would have to be just the people that make the school. Whether it is faculty or students- everyone is always supportive and willing to help you.
HC: What is your spirit animal?
Josh: I’m known by my friends for always taking stupid tests that tell you stuff about yourself. Last year, I took this corny spirit animal test and the results said my spirit animal was a bear…so let’s go with that.
HC: Who has got your back?
Josh: I know who’s always going to be there. I’d like to give a shout out to all my homies back in the DMV: Bae, Floor9Clique, Haaan, OooNah, Migos, BasedGod, and Sharkeisha.
HC: Who inspires you?
Josh: Yeezus. Although Kanye comes off as arrogant and immature to some, to me he comes off as a man who isn’t afraid to be confident in his abilities. I believe that you should always be confident in yourself. Let’s be honest, if you don’t believe in yourself, who will?
