Happy November! With Black Friday approaching and the holidays right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking about gifts for your friends and family (and yourself, of course). When it’s time to do my shopping, I like to search for deals on Amazon Prime, because 1) who doesn’t love free two-day shipping and 2) college students can get a free six-month trial. As I’ve used my Prime account more and more, I’ve realized there are some products unique to Amazon that you can’t find in most stores. So, I’ve compiled a list of HC Pitt’s favorite products, including some great Prime Video shows, to help you take advantage of all that Amazon has to offer!

Fire TV Stick – $34.99

Who needs cable when you have Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and YouTube? The Amazon Fire TV Stick plugs into any TV to let you stream all your favorite shows. It also comes equipped with Alexa voice control.

AirPods – $144

Rather than paying the $200 to get these bad boys from the Apple website, you can find the same exact product on Amazon and save your money (and time)!

Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace Perfume – $18

Despite being discontinued, you can still find the Victoria’s Secret vanilla lace scent on Amazon. Score!

Amazon Basics Electric Kettle – $20.99

You can make your tea or coffee with ease with this electric kettle. It’s cheaper and more highly reviewed than the other kettles on Amazon. It’s also small and compact, making it perfect for those small South O kitchens!

Nespresso Machine – $116.55

Now, this is a bit pricier for a coffee maker, but Nespresso coffee is amazing. One of my favorite things to do while holiday shopping is to go into the Nespresso store and try the samples of all the fancy espressos. This would make the perfect holiday gift for your caffeine-addicted parent or sibling. Prime members even get 35% off of the original $179 price tag!

Wunderbrow Eyebrow Gel – $20.02

This product has been recommended to me by many of my friends, so when I saw that the Amazon price is slightly cheaper than buying it directly from Wunder2, I just had to include it. I mean, just take a look at the 13,505 reviews yourself – this is a must-have eyebrow gel!

Ododos High-Waisted Leggings – $18.98

I’ll admit, Amazon is not the first place I’d go shopping for leggings. It’s important that they fit right, aren’t see through and are the perfect material. However, judging off of the thousands of super positive reviews, it seems like these leggings meet all of my standards. This obscure brand of leggings certainly has a cult following of happy customers. And for less than $20, they’re a steal!

Pixnor Facial Cleansing Brush – $15.99

Forget those $170 Clarisonic brushes and try this cheaper dupe instead. The brush is said to remove makeup, dirt and oil, and can be used in the shower as part of your daily skincare routine.

Prime Video

Prime Video is included with your Amazon Prime subscription and has tons of movies and tv shows, including originals. Some of our favorites include:

Fleabag (Amazon original)

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon original)

House

Legally Blonde

Lady Bird

The Jonas Brothers: Chasing Happiness

Happy shopping!
