It may be the beginning of the school year, but this is a time where we’re all starting to get more homework and we have tests coming up so it can all get a little stressful. I’ve found that if you set a day, once in a while just for relaxing, you’ll feel more put together. On those days, I tend to do some self care by doing face masks. I have so many face masks, I’ll just name a few of them.

Aztec Secret, Indian Healing Clay

This face mask is probably my favorite because after I take it off, I feel like a new person. It makes you feel refreshed and it actually helps if you have acne. To put this on, I usually put it in a cup and mix it with water and then start spreading it on my face.

Black Mask + Face Care Gel

This one is the type of mask that you pull off; it’s more for black heads and just taking away the dead skin. Usually after you take it off, it hurts a little bit and then once you put the face care gel, your face feels so smooth.

St. Ives Blackhead Clearing, Green Tea Scrub

With this face scrub, you don’t have to leave it on for how long you have to for the other two, however, you can just leave it on for about 5 minutes. This is usually for blackheads, but sometimes I just do this quickly before I go to bed so my skin doesn’t break out.

With all these different options, there’s so many ways that you can enjoy a self care day by just putting on a mask or doing a quick scrub to make you feel at peace. These are just my top favorite ones, but not everyone’s skin works well with these, just try one of them when your feeling overwhelmed and maybe it might help just a little bit!
