The River’s End Bookstore is the Place to Be!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oswego chapter.

As the weather gets colder, Oswego students want to stay indoors, away from the cold and wind. The river’s end bookstore is the perfect place to relax on a cold Oswego night.

The bookstore has been open since 1998 and features hundreds of books, including eBooks, as well as music, greeting cards, magazines, newspapers, and many more.

There are also activities, such as book readings, at the store. This past Wednesday, there was a reading from Pride Alliance. Students could pick something to read by an LGBT author or read something of their own. The river’s end bookstore also hosts the Great Lake Review’s launch of the literary magazine every semester.

If you’re interested in the bookstore, check out their website! (http://www.riversendbookstore.com/) There are tons of books on there and a list of events at the bookstore. It’s open seven days a week, so there is no excuse to miss out on one of the finest parts of Oswego.

I'm a junior. I like to read, watch T.V. and sleep. Aaaand that's it.
