Something about fall is just so refreshing to me. The coloring of the leaves mixed with the crisp breezy air and the smell of pumpkin and vanilla. Fall is the season when everything begins to feel cozy. That is why cuddling in my blankets, lighting candles, and watching a good show or movie are some of my favorite activities. If you also love falls These are my five favorite things to watch in the fall.

  1. Gilmore Girls

This is definitely an obvious one, nothing gets me in the mood for fall more than seeing Rori Gilmore wandering around Stars Hollow. The first episode immediately makes me think of cozy September days no matter what season I watch it in. If you are looking for a show to help you get in the fall mood this is definitely the show to start with.

  1. Over the Garden Wall

This show may be a hit or miss for some people but Over the Garden Wall is the perfect show for the fall season. Over the Garden Wall is a mini-series that originally premiered on Cartoon Network and was just the cutest show to me. The show has a spooky vibe to it which really makes you feel like it’s an October night. Along with that, the soundtrack is the perfect soundtrack for fall.

  1. Little Women

Little Women by Greta Gerwig is one of my favorite movies. This movie is perfect for fall and winter especially if you are watching with friends. The love story and the dialogue is so wholesome and never fail to make my heart melt. This movie honestly just screams fall.

  1. Coraline

This movie I love to watch this near Halloween but is definitely a movie I watch every year. It is spooky and fun to watch. If you are the kind of person who likes a little scare in the fall this movie is great. It is a creative story with an interesting plot line so if you haven’t I definitely suggest seeing this movie.

  1. Normal People

Normal People was a show I watched recently and It made me think of the fall season so much and really put me in the mood. If you need a show to binge-watch this season I highly suggest seeing Normal People. This book recently turned into a show, is definitely worth the hype, and follows two young people as they fall in and out of love at different points in their lives.

Overall fall is a great season and if you want to be in the fall mood start with these shows and movies.
