Lorraine Perdomo, ‘13

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oswego chapter.

This exuberant RA at Riggs Hall has a fiery personality and a smile that lights up any room. Between her wild tendencies to break out in a booty shaking dance in the middle of the hallway and her infectious laugh, you will never get bored hanging with this cutie.

Name: Lorraine Perdomo

Age: 20

Hometown: Yonkers, New York

Year of Graduation: 2013

Relationship Status: Single

Major: Spanish with a minor in communications. I want to be a Spanish teacher in the long run. I want to teach children how to hablar español.

Idea of a Perfect Date: My idea of a perfect date would have to be nothing cliché. I like something simple like going out to dinner and afterwards being able to talk while walking out on the boardwalk. And of course the date would end with a goodnight kiss.

Do you have any fears? Not being able to accomplish all my goals.

What is the first quality you look for in a guy? He has to have a great smile and a good sense of humor.

If Hollywoodmade a movie about you, who would you want to be cast as you? I’d have to go with Mila Kunis or Jennifer Anniston because they are very good looking, they have great personalities, and they are very good actresses.

Favorite Color: Lavender

Favorite Season: Autumn, because I love the colors, change of climate, and the leaves falling.

Favorite Food: My authentic rice, beans, and chicken.

Favorite place you’ve traveled to: Negril, Jamaica because it has a seven mile long beach that is breathtaking and the water is amazing. It’s a really nice place to go on vacation and just relax.

Favorite Pick Up line: Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Cause you’re an angel.

Kaitlin Provost graduated from SUNY Oswego, majoring in journalism with a learning agreement in photography. She grew up in five different towns all over the Northeast, eventually settling and graduating from high school in Hudson, Massachusetts. Kait now lives in the blustery town of Oswego, New York, where she can frequently be found running around like a madwoman, avoiding snow drifts taller than her head (which, incidentally, is not very tall). She has worked for her campus newspaper, The Oswegonian, as the Assistant News Editor, and is also the President of the Oswego chapter of Ed2010, a national organization which helps students break into the magazine industry. She hopes to one day work for National Geographic and travel the world.
