As September arrives and fall approaches, it is about that time when everyone begins looking for fun and cozy activities they can do with their friends! But, as college students, money tends to be tight. Therefore, here are some super fun group activities that you can do that won’t break the bank!

  1. Go on a Hike!

As the leaves begin to change it is truly becoming the prettiest time of year. The yellows, reds, and oranges all falling to the ground and illuminating the ground with color is always therapeutic! So destress with your friends and reconnect with nature after spending hours upon hours stuck behind your laptop!

  1. Pick Pumpkins!

Although you may have to shell out a couple of dollars to make this one happen, pumpkins are a fall essential! It is also so fun to walk around finding the perfect pumpkin!!

  1. Carve or Paint Pumpkins!

If you decide to do the last activity of picking pumpkins with your friends, then this next activity is certainly necessary! You can get creative with the fun, cute, or spooky designs you pick out for your pumpkin and have a spooky night filled with movies, crafts, and fun!

  1. Halloween Movie Marathon!

Whether you like scary movies like Scream or classic childhood movies like Halloweentown, a Halloween movie marathon is the perfect event for any friend group! Grab those extra pillows and blankets, dress up in some spooky pajamas, grab the snacks, and have a great night filled with nostalgia or maybe some screams!

  1. DIY Costume Party!

Get together with your friends and get creative with a DIY Costume Party! Grab those old scarves and hats and become a mummy, a zombie, or maybe a vampire! Put on some makeup and an old flannel and become a Scarecrow! Or maybe even just tape a mirror to your shirt and tell everyone that when they look at you they see the scariest costume there! The world is your oyster (or you could even be the oyster) when it comes to this super fun and creative activity with your friends!
