Sally’s Holiday Wishlist: All I want for Christmas is …

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OSU chapter.

Even as a sophomore in college, I get so excited to make my Christmas list each year!  I usually make it pretty early and continue adding things until it eventually looks like the one from Eloise at Christmastime.  Here’s what I have so far as my Christmas must-haves—enjoy!

1.     House of Holland Alphabet Tights (Urban Outfitters)

I love fun tights!  They’re great for keeping your legs warm while still looking very fashionable to go out in the winter.  These tights with the letters are especially fun.

2.     Welly Socks (Nordstrom, and other places)

It has probably rained the majority of my days at OSU, so rain boots are a must.  These Welly Socks are a perfect way to transition your rain boots to cold-weather boots!  I prefer these to riding boots or Uggs most days because the ground is usually slushy, wet, or snowy in Columbus.  They come in a variety of colors and patterns.  Personally, I like the knit-top ones best!

3.     Alphabet Earrings (Catbird)

Aren’t these the most perfect earrings ever?!  They’re super little, too—the size of typewriter font.  They come in every letter, in silver or gold.  It’s simply a coincidence that I have two items on my list that have to do with the alphabet!  Keep in mind when ordering that they are sold individually.

4.     Colebrook Boyfriend Shirt (Jack Wills)

Flannels are the best!  I love all “borrowed from the boys” clothes actually.  Flannels are super relaxed and look great with skinny jeans in riding boots.

5.     A Prize Ball (Kate Spade)

I know it seems kind of overpriced for a ball of paper with some little surprises, but I love that Kate Spade took the original crepe-paper-ball idea and made it their own.  I think it would be really fun to have one—they look so pretty!

6.     O Gloss by Smashbox (Sephora)

I lost my last O Gloss and it is, hands down, the coolest lip-gloss ever.  That’s why it’s on my list—I need a replacement ASAP!  I am not a big fan of lip-glosses because most make your lips sticky and look too glossy, but this one is awesome.  The most awesome part is that, because of the special formula, each person has their own, unique color when they use it!  Mine is a really pretty pink.  It’s fun just to see what color it looks like on all your friends!

7.     Lululemon Slipless Headband (online, or at the Lululemon at Easton)

This is my favorite new find and I want one in every color!  Perfect for that extra motivation to go to the RPAC.  They’re not only cute, but they hold hair back super well.

8.     Cupcake Band-aids (online)

I really, really, really want to find these in my stocking!  So cute and useful because I get blisters literally every time I wear heels!  And I rarely have band-aids on me…but I’d definitely carry these around!
