RED ALERT, RED ALERT: FASHION WEEK IS UPON US.
Fashion Week Columbus begins tomorrow! If you aren’t currently swamped with midterms and pending assignments, or if you’re looking for an awesome study break, you will not want to miss the wide array of events and excitement that Fashion Week will be bringing to Columbus!
There are events happening every day all over the city, ranging from tea parties to wedding runway shows. Some of these require ticket purchase, while others are free to the public. All of these events are equally exciting though, and give you the chance to meet with designers and check out the latest trends!
The following events have complimentary entry, meaning they are free to the public, meaning you have basically no reason not to go!
What: Human Rights Campaign Federal Club Fashion Show
When: Monday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Wall Street Nightclub
The first official fashion show of the week will kick off downtown, and entry is complimentary!
What: Charles Penzone Salons Event
When: Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: The Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Gahanna
This event features complimentary ten-minute up-do’s and other goodies for guests! In other words: free stuff.
What: Philanthropy Meets Fashion
When: Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: CCAD Mind Market
Wine will be served and generosity encouraged, featuring commentary from this years headline designer David Tupaz.
What: Industry Mixer and Accessories Presentation
When: Friday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: The Social Room
Featured designer Stevie Boi has been worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Madonna and even the queen herself: Beyoncé.
These events require purchasable tickets for entry, which you can get for around $25 per event. Even the most frugal fashionistas won’t be missing them:

What: High Fashion Tea
When: Sunday October 4 1:00 p.m.
Where: Columbus Museum of Art
What: Wedding Runway Show
When: Thursday October 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Columbus Athenaeum Olympian Room
What: Finale Runway Show
When: Saturday October 10 at 8:00 p.m.
