You may recognize her from her bright orange hair as the energetic lead singer of Paramore, our favorite emo band to jam out to in middle school. However, she’s also a proud feminist as well as a successful business woman. As the founder and CEO of her own hair dye line, Good Dye Young, Williams has truly expanded her business ventures and made a name for herself outside of the music industry. She started off writing songs for Paramore at the ripe age of thirteen, eventually becoming the lead singer of the band, who released their first album together when she was sixteen. Paramore has now released five albums with songs we can’t get out of our heads, such as Ain’t it Fun, Still into You, and of course the beloved Misery Business. Her incredible, bright energy and loud voice on stage carried into her equally bright and fun line of hair dye and hair makeup. Away from the stage and hair dye, Williams spends a lot of time on Twitter talking to and relating to her fans through memes, politics, her love for Beyoncé, you name it. However, she also often opens up about mental health, the importance of therapy, as well as her passion and love for her band and friends. She is often known as the “least problematic white woman in music,” all the more reason to love her.
