HCO:  Let’s hear about your clothing company, what was your inspiration?

Underground Apparel is a company inspired by the spirited campus community around Eugene.  It is owned and founded by myself along with roommates and business partners Nick Hughes and Jack Taylor.  Our styles will be featured at the Willamette Valley Music Festival, ASUO Street Fair, and Campus Block Party on May 31.  The clothing company has been a lot of fun, and we have sold over 800 shirts from the Duck Store.

HCO:  What other extracurricular are you involved in?

In addition to the clothing company, I work for the EMU Cultural Forum as a music coordinator, I am a brother of Kappa Sigma, and work for Kaleidoscope Music Festival.

HCO: What are you passionate about?

My main passions lie in the event and entertainment industry.  On a larger scale, I am passionate about making a positive impact in the daily lives of people.  Being a part of a project or event that makes people happy is a rewarding experience that gives me great personal satisfaction.

HCO: What would you like to do after graduation?

Ultimately, I want to start my own entertainment company based in San Francisco, where I throw annual events (such as a block party, or festival).  I want to be part of fun company community surrounded by positive, motivated, and driven people always aspiring to make a difference.

HCO: Favorite part/memory about UO?

I am going to miss being involved in such a big, welcoming community on campus abundant with opportunities.  In particular, I am going to miss my fraternity brothers, being a part of the cultural forum, and the all of the amazing clubs on campus.

HCO: Role model?

Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group

HCO: Celeb crush?

Rozzi Crane, a young and ambitious up and coming artist who has opened for Maroon 5.

HCO: Favorite date spots?

Electric station, Sam Bond’s Garage, Vet Club live music nights.

HCO: Ideal date?

It would be a weekend getaway in the Bahamas skydiving, scuba diving, and jet skiing, followed by mimosas and a long walk on the beach.

HCO: Describe yourself in three words:

Tenacious, spontaneous, gregarious
