KB: “If I had to pick a hero, it would have to be my mom. She is the strongest and most genuine person I know. She’s taught me so much and molded me into the person I am today.”
HC: What was your favorite freshmen year experience?
KB: “I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer down in New Orleans. Even though Hurricane Katrina hit 10 years ago, the city is still recovering and rebuilding from it. New Orleans is such a unique city rich in culture and history. To be able to make a difference and be afforded the opportunity to work down there was such a rewarding experience.”
