Bored In Oneonta? Here Are Some Things You Can Do!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oneonta chapter.

Gilbert Lake State Park-

I recently went to visit Gilbert Lake State Park. It is a beautiful lake that it is a bit hidden from the main road, but once you get to the lake, it’s breathtaking!

Howe Caverns-

I went to Howe Caverns when I was younger. I don’t remember much of it but I remember how amazed I was with how the caverns were formed.

National Baseball Hall of Fame-

I also went to the Baseball Hall of Fame when I was younger. I wasn’t as in to it as my brother was but I remember thinking to myself, “wow, I can’t believe how many players made it into the Hall of Fame.”

The Farmer’s Market-

I know this is not as exciting as the last three places to go but I thought why not put it down as a place to go. If you are anything like me, you always like to buy fresh produce. I have yet to go to the Farmer’s Market though. There are Farmer’s Markets on Main Street in Oneonta and in Cooperstown.

Owera Vineyards-

This one is for you if you are twenty-one and older and like wine as much as I do. I also have not been to Owera Vineyards yet (I plan to go soon). It looks like a really nice place to relax and to have fun with your friends!
