College Football is back in full swing, and what’s the best way to enjoy the action? Here at Oklahoma State University!

Saturday was the first home game of many in the famous Boone Pickens Stadium, and the Cowboys really brought the house down. Let’s recap just some of the many highlights of this day.

Around 8 AM you could hear the tailgaters firing up their grills and preparing the city for the big game. Everywhere you walked you found a family tailgating and cheering, “GO POKES!” You might have thought they were a little obnoxious but when The Walk started, everybody turned into crazy maniacs as the football team walked through.

It might seem that the tailgating and touching the hands of the football players was the highight, but the real showstopper was our famous horse Bullet. Bullet was ready to ride over some Arkansas Bears, but in the midst of all the excitement almost ran over our Cowboy Marching Band. No one was hurt luckily!

Then the stars of the game ran out, and Hell came with them!

Our Cowboy defense held their ground, and our quarterback Mason Rudolf got our offense where they needed to be.

The night ended with all of the alumni and students grabbing shoulders, and singing the OSU Alma Mater after the win.

Saturday was a great day to be a Cowboy, but it you missed the action, there is still time to experience all the fun!

Next Week the Cowboys play University of Texas San Antonio back home at Boone Pickens Stadium!

You can catch the game on ESPNU or students can buy an All-Sports Pass in the Student Union.

Hope to see you all next week in the best stadium in the nation!

GO POKES!
