OK State’ First Kisses

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at OK State chapter.

My first kiss went a little like this

Do you remember your first kiss? It is usually a monumental moment in someone’s life that was either phenomenal, terrible or a great mystery because you didn’t know what it was supposed to be like. Awkward or not, we all have a first kiss story and here are some recollections from OSU students.

The perfect first kiss

“Whenever I was at a national conference I met this girl from California and we snuck around this old hotel that we were in and we ended up breaking up onto the roof and we made out on the roof. It was like one of those one-time perfect moments. We looked out on the Ohio river and it was super romantic.”

The surprising first kiss

“Mine was kind of sketchy. I had a guy best friend throughout all of high school and my parents let them all stay over at my house (I have no idea why). Everyone had gone to sleep already and he just came over to my sleeping bag and kissed me. It was so sweet.”

The “watching a movie” kiss

“We were in a basement watching “Remember the Titans” and I was just lying there and he interrupted my favorite scene of the movie. It was really weird. “

The playground kiss

“Well in pre-K we were under the slide and this boy’s best friend dared him to kiss me. Well, he did it and we got sent to time-out because my best friend told on us. My discipline record had been spotless and I cried all day.”

I am a senior at Oklahoma State University. My major is Multimedia Journalism with a minor in leadership. I aspire to be a news anchor or work for a fashion magazine, I am honestly open to any kind of journalism though. I am the Her Campus correspondent for OSU. I interned for News on 6 in Tulsa, Okla this summer and I loved every second of it. Basically, I am just a fun-loving girl who loves her friends and family. The only expectations I have for the future is to be happy.
