#MeetTheTeamMonday: Vicki Mileson

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

Each week we will be introducing you to a member of our team with our series #MeetTheTeamMonday. This week, Vicki has answered a few questions…

Hi Vicki!

What year are you in and what are you studying at the University of Nottingham?

I’m in my second year of studying Modern Languages, so French and Spanish and next year is my year abroad!

What is your position at Her Campus this year?

I’m a blogger.

Are you a night in or a night out kinda person?

I can’t decide- maybe a quiet night out person. I would always pick a cocktail bar over a club, but I still love chilling at home with my housemates.

What is your plan for when you finish University?

I really have no idea, maybe a  translator, maybe something in journalism. I’m hoping to try something out on my year abroad but I’m also trying not to stress myself out too much with what I’ll end up doing in the long-term.

Favourite restaurant/place to get food in Nottingham?

Sexy Mama Loves Cicchetti. I went with some friends for my birthday last year and it was amazing! There’s also a Sexy Mama Loves Spaghetti but my terrible sense of direction means I haven’t managed to find it yet.

What are you originally from (home-town)?

Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. It’s not very well-known, but it’s very green and I went to the same school as Alesha Dixon!

What is your favourite place in the world that you have visited?

Iceland- I would go back in a heartbeat. Thingvellir National Park was my favourite, but everywhere I got the chance to visit was incredible.
