As summer ends it’s time to organise for the new academic year, which opens up opportunities to accessorise with new bags. With so many bags fit for so many different purposes, a cross between functional and stylish has to be the ‘go to’ bag for students. University students have a vast array of bags to choose from, depending on their suitability for different day-to-day tasks.

Below is a list of bags that can be suited for different occasions including backpacks, totes and messenger bags.

Backpacks are great for long days when a bag must accommodate a variety of needs, from carrying books and laptops, to hauling gym clothes. Here are a range of backpacks that differ from its traditionally more bulky look.

Totes are “library bags”. Ideal for when you need to take out 10 books for an upcoming assignment, and for when they are (eventually) returned, Totes mean you no longer have to struggle with carrying the books by hand.

Messenger bags are for the less challenging days, when carrying around a larger bag isn’t required. Its simplistic design allows it to be matched with many styles and outfits.

Now is the best time to shop for bags! Which one is your favorite type of bag?
