Spring is in the air, and so is spring fashion. With spring comes new clothing collections. In case you haven’t heard, Lilly Pulitzer and Target have teamed up to offer a perfectly pastel spring collection debuting this month. This collection has gotten quite the bit of attention and people are anxiously anticipating the line hitting stores on April 19th. Lilly Pulitzer is known for bright and fun prints, as well as bank-breaking prices. This collaboration with Target is the best of both worlds, Lilly Pulitzer prints and styles combined with the affordable prices of Target. Target has recently become a go-to for cute and affordable clothes, especially their adorable bathing suits, but now throwing Lilly Pulitzer into the mix?! Who knows what else Target will amaze us with.
Although the collection will not be released until April 19th, Target was kind enough to release a lookbook, so that customers can get a sneak peek of what they’ll see in stores when the collection goes live. Here are some of the super cute pieces that are essential to your spring and summer wardrobe:
The Classic Shift Dress:
Lilly is known for their dresses, especially their shift dress, therefore no collection would be complete without it. Thankfully, Target did not disappoint and they are offering three different options.
The Retro Bikini:
If you are ever in need of a cute bathing suit but don’t want to spend a lot of money on one, you should go to Target. It’s no surprise that for the Lilly Pulitzer collection bathing suits were included, with beautiful prints of course.
Perfect Summer Wedge:
No spring/summer wardrobe is complete without a versatile wedge sandal. This collection offers a couple pairs of awesome summer shoes, but I believe the best to be the gold wedges. The subtleness of the style is enough that it won’t be too loud for any outfit, but the pop of the gold color will always add a fabulous flare. As you can see from the picture above, this wedge can go with a plethora of outfits.
Pom-Pom Shorts:
Although it’s still a little nippy outside and shorts are probably not going to be a part of our daily attire for a few more weeks, it never hurts to think ahead. Casual, flowy shorts have become super popular and this pair in the Lilly collection is super cute, the pom-poms are to die for.
The Boho Chic Jumpsuit:
Jumpsuits are a two-in-one home run. It’s both your shirt and your pants all in one fabulous package. This collection includes two full leg jumpsuits and a romper, all of which are awesome. They are perfect for when you are trying to switch it up from the typical dress or shirt and pant ensemble.
