HC: What position do you hold in your sorority? Philanthropy Director!

HC: Can you tell me about the event that you planned that is coming up this weekend? Yes. This Saturday we have a basketball “knockout” tournament planned to raise money for breast cancer education and awareness. I’m psyched because it’s a cause that is really important to so many people, and this is a fun way to goof off and spend time with friends playing basketball while raising money! I’m terrible at basketball—in middle school my PE teachers would always take pity on me and excuse me from knockout—so if anyone is looking for a confidence boost as midterms continue come find me in Patten at 2pm Saturday and you will definitely beat me.

HC: What else are you involved in on campus? I’m a ASG senator representing PHA and a member of the ASG community relations committee, I work at the Medill Justice Project and I sell ads for STITCH.

HC: How do you find a balance between everything you’re juggling on campus? It’s all about being involved in things I care about and find interesting. When I’m excited about what I’m doing I don’t get too burnt out! It’s also important for me to take on smaller roles in most of my activities so I can give my leadership positions the attention they require.

HC: What do you want to do after you graduate? Right now I think I want to go to law school. I want a career that requires me to keep learning and adapting and I am terribly unoriginal, so obviously I’ve chosen law.
