Snapshot- The Chinese Autumn Festival arrives at NMSU

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at NMSU chapter.

The Chinese Autumn Festival has arrived on campus! This festival usually falls around the autumn season of the Chinese calendar (September-October), which is how it gets its name. The Confucius Institute at NMSU, a program created in 2007 to spread awareness of Chinese culture and language, celebrated its anniversary by bringing a class of elementary students to campus. Children were able to interact with native speakers and, who knows, some might become Aggies in the future!

Recent graduate of the journalism and foreign languages program at NMSU who is obsessed with the world! On my free time you can find me binging on documentaries, hiking or trying to learn a new language.
