Sean Connery dies at age 90 in the Bahamas

Scottish actor Sean Connery known for his portrayal of James Bond, passed away at age 90 in the Bahamas. He died surrounded by family in Nassau.

2. English Soccer Star Marcus Rashford launches a campaign to offer free meals to children as Boris Johnson has a muddled pandemic response
November 2nd, 2020
Marcus Rashford, 23 year old forwards for Manchester United, launched a campaign to help eligible children get free meals. The government refused to extend a free lunch program for children over their holiday break. Rashford was able to raise enough donations to feed 1.5 million children.

3. Oregon Decriminalized All Drug Possession – Including Heroin and Meth
November 3rd, 2020
With things being extremely tense in the election, many historical feats and decisions have taken place. Oregon became the first state to decriminalise all drug possession including cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine. This is sets a historical precedent.

4. Europe begins to impose 2nd wave of lockdowns, Pandemic Fatigue sets in
November 4th, 2020
As COVID numbers begin seeing a massive spike across Europe, countries like France, Germany and England have started imposing a 2nd wave of lockdowns. France is imposing a total one, while Germany is imposing a partial lockdown closing only theaters, bars, and clubs to not overwhelm hospitals. With this second wave of lockdown, pandemic fatigue is setting in.

5. Hurricane Eta Tears through Nicaragua and Honduras
November 5, 2020
Hurricane Eta is forecast to move along Honduras causing heavy rains, and will eventually move towards Cuba and later Florida. It started out as a Category 4 storm with heavy winds.
