HC: Can you tell me about what you are involved in on campus?
TR: “During my Sophomore year at New Paltz I became extremely involved on campus when I joined greek life. Becoming a sister of Sigma Delta Tau led to opportunities to become involved on campus while participating in community service, philanthropy events, leadership workshops, and meetings. Being in greek life has made me feel so much closer to New Paltz as a whole!”
HC: What is your all-time favorite thing about completing your Undergrad at New Paltz?
TR: “I love everything about New Paltz! First of all, it’s so beautiful and these views are to die for. Of course, everyone at New Paltz can agree, the nightlife we have is awesome and is definitely one of my favorite things about being here. Can’t forget about all the amazing friendships New Paltz has given to me too! To sum up New Paltz I’d say it’s ‘good times, great people, amazing memories.’”
HC: What is one thing you need to accomplish before you graduate?
TR: “I absolutely need to do more hiking before I graduate! I’ve only been once and it was so much fun. I guess if I don’t go as much as I plan, I can always come back! An excuse to come visit my favorite place!”
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
TR: “In 10 years I see myself at a teaching job I absolutely love. I hope to be married and maybe even have kids by then! Overall I see myself being happy and doing something I am passionate about.”
HC: What is the best piece of advice that you have ever been given, or given someone else?
TR: “I think the best piece of advice I have been both received and given to someone else is that laughing can cure everything. I’m a firm believer that if you can laugh about anything, you will always be ok. It reminds me to never take life too seriously and to always have a good time!”
