It’s officially fall! It can be hard to get in the fall spirit when it is will 90 degrees outside, but here are some shows to embrace from the comfort of your bed.
Gilmore Girls
Set in a small town called Stars Hollow, Connecticut, everyone knows everyone and news spread fast. Lorelai gave birth to Lorelai (I know, it’s confusing right!) when she was 16 years old. To avoid confusion she nicknamed her daughter Rory. The Lorelai’s spend every day sipping coffee at “Lukes” and walking around their small town in comfy sweaters. Gilmore Girls is currently streaming on Netflix.
This is Us
When I think of Fall, I think of my family. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because my extended family comes together. This is Us is about a very unique set of triplets and the struggles they face throughout their life and even to death. The Pearsons are a tight-knit family that would love nothing more than to be there for each other when times get hard. The Pearsons also love their traditions and holidays, one being Thanksgiving. This is Us is streaming on Hulu and the NBC app or website.
Stranger Things
Hawkins, Indiana, is full of mysteries and supernatural events. Set in the 80s, a group of friends searches for answers on all of the “strange things” happening in their town. The first season was set in November, and the second starts off on Halloween. Scary movies always give me a sense of fall since Halloween is in the midst of the season. In the first season, Mike, Dustin, and Luke search for their friend Will as he goes missing one night. During their journey, they receive help from a stranger with no name, and their town officer. Although they are just in middle school, they know something larger is at work and they must fix it to get their friend back. Stranger Things is a Netflix Original and is streaming on Netflix.
