If you’re anything like me, you have a substantial amount of makeup products. You have your products that you use on  a daily basis sitting on your countertop and then the rest of your makeup hiding in your linen closet waiting to be used for special occasions. Sound familiar?

As a self-proclaimed makeup guru, I take great pride in what products I decide to use. After much research, many Youtube videos and tons of trial and error of buying products, I have created my perfect starting five of countertop products.

Starting off with my ride or die product, the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops which retails for $36. These drops are magic. I would take with me to a desert island. I mix a few drops in with my moisturizer and it creates a natural bronzed glow. The price might seem daunting, but the product lasts for what seems like forever. I don’t leave the house without having this.

Coming in at a close second is the Lancome Monsieur Big Volumizing Mascara retailing for $27. The volume and length I get from this mascara is unreal. A few swipes on the lashes and I look like a completely different person. This product doesn’t clump or give the effect of spider legs.

This next product blew up seemingly overnight. Whether it was because of the actual product or the brand owner, that will never be known. The brand owner being Selena Gomez and the product being the Rare Beauty liquid blush in Soft Pinch which retails for $20. This is the definition of a little goes a long way. The way it blends into my skin and leaves the perfect glowy, natural rosy finish is everything I want in a blush. I have never been a fan of blush because of my naturally rosy cheeks, but this product has changed my mind.

My final countertop product is the Maybelline Great Lash clear mascara which retails for $7.99. Where do I begin? I use it for my lashes. I use it for my eyebrows. I use it on my eyelids with loose glitter. This is truly an all-in-one product. I brush my brows and eyelashes and it gives a me that little extra something for when I don’t want to wear makeup.

My makeup collection is important to me, but my countertop makeup is sacred to me. What would you put in your countertop list?
