“Blinded”
by: Justine Blanc-Laine
In loss of words,
in loss of love,
in loss of it all.
How blind was I
to fall for this guy.
I let five months pass me by
to only end up with a bottle of cries.
I must have been misguided
To think that with him I’d forever be united
I must have been blinded
to think we would always be undivided.
What’s the point of loving,
For it all to be resulting,
In my heart breaking,
And my tears falling.
I should have known,
To each its own,
I should have known…
