With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, whether single or in a relationship, it is the perfect time to cuddle up and watch your favorite romcoms. Turn the lights off, get yourself some fluffy blankets and some tea and chocolate as you sit back and relax as you watch these movies. Here are some of my favorite go to romcoms that are perfect for when you can’t decide on what to watch.

  1. 10 Things I Hate About You

Starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger, this movie will quickly make its way to being your favorite movie. Amazing chemistry between the actors clearly shows in the characters’ interaction. Watch as these misunderstood characters realize just how perfect they are for one another. You can watch it on Disney+.

  1. 27 Dresses

Starring Katherine Heigl and James Marsden, this is the perfect depiction of what all romcoms should be like. The chemistry between the characters from the moment they meet until the very end. Where one is in love with the idea of love and weddings and the other refuses to give in to the hope of real true love.

  1. Set it Up

I think we can all agree that romcoms after the early 2000s are just not the same anymore. It is difficult to find more recent romcoms that give off those similar vibes. This is one of the best recent romcoms out there. The banter between the characters, the chemistry and the build up to them getting together is so good. You can watch this on Netflix.

  1. The Proposal

Starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, how much better can a movie get? You will laugh and fall in love with these characters as you watch them navigate their fake relationship turn into something more. You can watch this on Hulu.

  1. The Bounty Hunter

A romcom starring Jennifer Aniston, you already know is going to be good. A second chance romance where you see the characters fall in love through their hatred for one another. You can watch it on Hulu.
